PSP V2.0 to v1.5 Downgrade guide

ok, jeez, i cant do it right now. i still have to go through the proccess of sending my bricked one to sony, getting my new one, and either selling that one on ebay and buying one off of success hk, or convincing the little neighbor girl to trade her 2.0, never been upgraded psp thats barely ever used, for my refurbeshed one from sony. also, video freak, ur thing says dcemu legend, becuse u are. u r like one step below that wraggster dude. u r this website. even since i joined this site, uve always been there to help. i respect u. i know that all sounded REAAAAALLLLY corny.

Thanks for the guide Kaiser, worked a treat!
Only difference for me was that the PSP didnt perform the 'lengthy restart' when the 1.5 update failed at 99%, it just sat there for a while and i hard restarted it.

I have a PSP v2.01, would I have to upgrade to 2.5/6 then downgrade in order to run emulators on my PSP? Or is there a way to run emulators and ROMs without upgrading/ downgrading.
