Top Emulators which ones should i use

Hi all

Just wondering what the best emus i should use are
which ones offer best speed etc would ideally like to set up a top 10 emus section with every ones favs and why
any help- on this matter would be gladly excepted
also include homebrew eg scumm and doompsp
which snes emu is best and what settings make it full speed etc all this type of info would help me too
is there a descent lynx emu yet?
