I agree, if the PSP can emulate fullspeed psx, so can the Wii. And pretty much all systems present on VC can obviously be emulated full speed, including obviously N64. I'm also excited now at the idea of homebrew games and apps using the wii functionality and controls

i agree, nintendo can do it, i hope the awesome coders out there can do it too, with cheat support
and the PSX can be done too imo, the XBOX can do it if not in fullspeed, it's very close.

EDIT: don't even start jabbering abot the processor crap, i know that very well..
    but it can be done..

    I hear ya!

didn't the chinese girl's (saving girl) dialect also change to a more "british correct" dialect in "Twin Snakes"? - as in no more "sucky sucky - luv u long time"?

And how about Raven - i might be mistaken but I think he originally sounded something like this:

    "ZIS IS RA-VENS TE-RRI-TO-RY"

and in Twin Snakes more british-like

    "this is Ravens terri'try"

I could be mistaken - I remember encountering one of these changes and gave up on the game - you simply don't change art!

Some of them might be made up in my mind.

Emulators for MSX, Commodore 64 and Neo Geo would be awesome, they are already emulated on VC so should be possible, here's hoping someone will make it.

    Well, David Hayter, (Snake,)
gave up most of his paycheck for this game
to get the other voice actors to return for a re-recording. Mei Ling lost her accent due to time, and I suppose the same happened with Raven, but it wasn't as noticeable to me as her.

And the VA for Grey Fox was someone TOTALLY different. It ruined the epic-ness of his death monologue.
"Snake, we're not tools of the government, or anyone else... Fighting was the only thing...the only thing I was good at. But at least, I always fought for what I believed in... Farewell, Snake."

I have that memorized... I played that game when i was like 7. lol

    Default Anything is Possible

Sega CD and PSX is probably as far as the Wii will be pushed, If it is pushed.

Frankly, I think it can do a hell of a lot more than that.

And remember, anyone that has a chance and the know-how to make a working PSX emulator needs to be prepared for the worst with Sony Those devils just don't quit.

And as to full speed N64, It should be obvious Nintendo deliberatly designed the Wii to do that. Unfortunetly, Nintendo's emulator is the only one that works:thumbup:

I guess the only question up in the air would be, How much longer until Nintendo discontinues production of the Wii?

the N64 emu would be great if it goes alot faster, but the thing is that the roms are sooo badly dumped and ar full of glitches, just take a look at my favourite N64 game, Vigilante 8 Second Offense, you can't play it at all...
