Wii is not picking up internet

Hey all,


My Wii ain't picking up the internets signals. My computer can and i have logged into my router and every thing is ok. If i go to connection 1 or 2 or 3 and hit search still no. I tried manually and still no.


Any help?

Did you try setting the connection profiles correctly, such as the network key/password and SSID? If so and it's not working, prehaps the internal wifi card isn't working properly which may mean sending the console in for repair.

is your wii new? give us some more info. let me kno when it was bought and if it has picked up internet before. etc

My Wii was bought Late August 2007, and yes, it has picked up internet before. It just suddenly stopped working.

So, it was ok, but it just suddenly stopped. Well, i have warranty still because its not august yet.

So, again: It wont pick up any Wireless. I tried to enter the SSID and Key but still no. It gives me error 51031

I even power cycled the Wii. Still no.

Hey all


Well i figured it out. I went to support.nintendo.com
So, my router (D-Link DIR-625) had turned on SPI Firewall, and this prevents the Wii from accessing the Internet.


So, my Wii is ok.
