One week, and I was perfectly fine without video games. I still play one occasionally strictly for entertainment value.
Oops! My girlfriend read this article and is trying to make a bet with me that I can not go one month without games. I am not sure if I want to do that...

Nearly one year, against my will. We played a lot of basketball and lifted weights.
When I could game again, I spent the next year or more hooked on Soul Calibur.
Oh well, "All's well that ends well."
