Seriously frustrated

I'm trying to get cfw but there are so many installers and about half of them will permantly damage my psp. I thought installing cfw would be a simple process once i got the datel tool. I tried the psp grader but it involves 150 firmware which i'm told will damage my slim psp. I just need instructions on how to make a memory stick that will work with my daxter slim 3.95. I would also like the know common mistakes that cause psps to get bricked and how to avoid them.

if you have datel already first insert battery you should see green light come on then put in stick (if it came with one im not filimar with datel)
follow onscreen instructions and make nand backup.

Never mix slim with 150 unless using timemachine
