Default Amazon is reportedly spending nearly $500 million a year on its video game division

Amazon's video game division has been struggling to get off the ground, and a report from Bloomberg indicates just how much has been spent trying to make it happen.
Two sources familiar with Amazon's budget told Bloomberg that the tech giant is spending "nearly $500 million a year" operating the video game division.
This number does not include Twitch, the streaming service that Amazon bought in 2014, nor its cloud streaming service Amazon Luna.
Amazon has brought in a number of video game veterans since first setting up its development operation, including Portal designer Kim Swift and Far Cry 2 director Clint Hocking, neither of whom are still with the company.

The 500+ Club helps take the guesswork out of shopping on Amazon. The product experts at Good Housekeeping have vetted the below products to ensure they’re worth your money. Each one boasts at least 500 reviews and a minimum 4-star rating from real, verified reviewers, so you can trust that you’re purchasing products that actually work, according to users and experts. With so much inventory on Amazon, it can be hard to find what's actually worth it. Fortunately, Amazon updates lists of top-selling products hourly. These favorite Amazon items have been reviewed thousands of times or earned the title of Amazon's Choice. Whether you're just nosey about what everyone else is buying (no shame) or looking for the best deals to shop, get ideas from this list of Amazon's best-selling items, ranging from home organizers, top-rated fashion pieces, viral TikTok finds, and game-changing beauty picks. Before you shop, make sure you sign up for Amazon Prime for tons of perks — it's a great way to prep for Amazon Prime Day, the site's biggest sales event of the year.

It seems to me that this is amount. But if you take into account the turnover of money on Amazon, then this is insignificant. Amazon is one of the most convenient online stores. You can always find anything there, from games to different instruments. One day my mother wanted to install bedside lamps in the house. She looked at the product on eBay, Aliexpress, Walmart, and more. But in the end, I found https://www.amazon.com/Night-Light-P.../dp/B07NF4P12L on Amazon. Mom is happy with the product and even plans to order a few more nightlights soon. I think it is because of the wide selection and quality of products Amazon is a success. If a company can afford to spend $ 500 million on one segment, then I think it also invests a lot in the rest.
