Reformatting card

Hi, I'm getting an error message on my DSL:

FAT Cluster size must > 16k byte! Please reformat card

I tried to reformat from the PC which I now realize was a mistake. I cannot access the menu using any of the L+R+A+B+Down functions. I have tried to load a new system on to the DS via the PC but also to no avail. I have also looked at the site for the card manufacturer - Sunny Flash (game-menu.com). Any ideas about how I can get this DS kickstarted again?
