It's a new team, apparently lead by a French(Supposedly) girl named Miriam.
It's fairly new, but so far they have been the only team (Besides wildc*rd) to somewhat implement a custom FW without totally breaking the POPs emulation (Although they had some troubles along the way).
Their firmware right now is just attempting to stay at DAX's level and deliver high quality results (Something not all can achieve). Basically the same thing as M33 with a few more bugs and higher kernel number.

Is it any good? Are there benefits?
One nice thing 3.95 GEN had was the ability to make a pandora battery right from the recovery menu. That saved my butt.

Screw that. GEN just puts new firmware versions into m33 and calls it their own. They just decrypted a m33 custom firmware and add their own offcial firmware inside. That is completely wrong to call it your own. GEN won't add any new features and there is definitely going to be some bugs because of the way they're doing it.

    m33 ftw.

Well, they dont because the m33 FWs dont make Pandora from the recovery! duh! why dont you read up on that! the reason im sticking with m33 is because DA made the original CFW, and is more reliable, and because of him i would not have a hacked PSP.
