    Default DS RAM cartridge.

Hey guys, I currently have the jEnesis emulator working fine on my R4, I do get a frame rate drop every here and there though.

I was wondering, will the DS RAM expansion that came with the DS web browser help speed up the emulator? Just I don't want to lay down the dough and then find it was a waste.

Any help would be greatly appreciated ^^.

jEnesisDS does not make use of the RAM pack. SNEmulDS can use it for large SNES games (though I haven't really noticed any difference) while some other programs can use it as well, most notably Quake DS, Quake 2 DS, NeoDS, DSLinux, and Moonshell (for decoding large JPEG images). Those are the only ones I can think of that use slot-2 RAM at all.

Note that GBA files cannot be run on the Opera pack, so if you're going to get slot-2 RAM you'd be better off with something like the EZ-V 3in1 expansion pack.

An ez-flash expansion pack or something similar would also get you more ram at a cheaper priced as well.
