What should I reply? Sony doesn't allow installing cfw when you are on ofw by normal means. You have to use some bug to install cfw. In new firmware these are patched and you have to install cfw by pandora battery. Pandora battery with magic memory stick forces psp to service mode when you can run unofficial code from memory stick. There are lot of easy installers which can make magic memory stick for you and pandora battery is available online or you can make it yourself which I do not recommend because you need another psp with cfw and tool batteries are cheap.
Has anyone else suffered crashing using the new 4.01 M33-2?
I've had my PSP slip freeze and then turn off while using the latest version of the Snes emulator and also using the Spectrum emulator.
It's not happened before I upgraded so just wondering if it's a known problem, or just my bad luck?
Cheers guys.
Hello,
I'm new to this forum and very new to gaming, so apologies if this is in the wrong forum. BUT.......
I've spent 3 days trying to get the info for hacking my PSP, and this is as far as i've got. HELP....
So all i really want to do is be able to use the 'remotejoy' to play games via usb.
1)I bought the Daxter/Slim + Lite Bundle
2)I opened the battery and scratched away the copper wiring (i was told this was one of 2 options - the first was to remove the '5pin' but i didn't want to do that)
3)so the battery will work once the PSP has booted.
4) i try to run the cfw (none of them worked)
5) i try to run pandora battery creator (doesn't work)
6) so finally i successfully reconnected the battery copper wiring by using a pencil to refill in the gap.
7) so now i'm back to where i started!!!!!
Is it REALLY possible to 'mod' 'hack' or whatever!!! my psp (version 4.01)
If it is, can someone give me a tutorial that may actually work. I'll gladly donate to any site that can really do it for me!!!!!
Thanks for reading.
Peace, Jazzboy
