Cool NES vs Master System vs 7800

Well, DCEmu, it's that time of the month again (Im afraid it's not for flexible tampax sport).

Nintendo Entertainment System/Famicom and Famicom Disk System:

Released in 1985, considered by many as the console that saved video games, has some of the best games ever. Several of it's AAA games still have sequels on the Wii and Nintendo DS 23 years later.

    Sega Master System/SG-1000 Mark-III:

Released in 1986, this console was never marketed properly in America until Sega finally started advertising for it themselves in the early 90s.
Another reason that it did bad in the States is that the box art was uniform and usually ugly, whereas the Japanese version of the game had good looking boxart like this image:
It did very well in Europe, which also helped the Megadrive do well over there. It did even better in Brazil.
Master System was far superior to the NES, and underrated in many areas.

    Atari 7800:

Released in 1987, this console was backwards compatible with the 2600, and was for the most part inferior to the NES. It had good games to offer, but it really couldnt beat the NES, or Master System, really because it wasnt that much of an improvement on the 2600.

NES was the first system I played, and got me into video games, therefore it makes it my favorite

I like the Master system best, and I actually prefer it over the Mega Drive.

The NES was a success commercially, the Master System died very quickly (though games were being released until around 1995) compared to how the NES was still quite strong until around 93/94 when the 16-bit era was popular (I think there were games in 1996 and consoles until 2003).

It was the most sold console in Brazil. And that was the only one non portable console that i bougth. NES was a amazing good console, but Master System is far better than it.

Now that I think about it, the Master System did have many cool games. I'm sure if I grew up with it instead of the NES, I would've voted for it.

    I vote NES.
