NeoGeo CD emulator help

Straight to the point, can normal Neo Geo roms be played using NeoCD PSP v0.5 instead of NeoGeo CD roms? The reason I ask this is because 1) NG roms are more readily available than the CD's and 2) the NGCD roms size are exponentially bigger than the normal NeoGeo's and I want to save space as much as possible. Thanks.

no there no way to run neogeo rom on the neogeo cd emulator.
if you remove mp3 from the game it will be much smaller...
