psp PSP (PlayStation Portable) v4.05 Update

    News from the Playstation blog

I wanted to give a quick heads up to everyone that a new PSP firmware update, v4.05, will be released soon. We know that more and more of you are listening to music on your PSP, and this update will add new visualizers for music playback, among other features. Enjoy!

Looks like we're in for another wave of "sony sucks, they didn't put enough new features in this update to appease my high standards" posts.

Myself, I'm looking forward to it. I regularly use my PSP for listening to music, and I think new visualizers would be awesome. The last one they added was pretty dull though, to be honest.

About time Sony added more visualisations to the music player. When the next version of M33 custom firmware comes along, I'll be sure to check them out - hope they're good ones though.

You can actually have the new visualisations on 4.01m33.
Flash the attached files to your flash0 and away you go.
Credits to Mr. Shizzy for showing me how!

From what I seen, it has one, well two new visualzers. If you have a wallpaper, it has a nice effect and if you like looking at the waves, it'll use those waves as a visualizer. This is cool to look at, I like it.

to be honest.. the update is useless unless it has security updates. but I dont care, I only care if this update has a playlist feature like the ps3 and other major mp3 players THAT will be extremely usefull for me and other music lovers...
