this of course you can upgrade to 2.0 and downgrade to 1.5
this might not always be the case, but for now you're safe homebrew-wise

what firmware will i get???
hi forumpeople.
i live in holland(europe)and im buying a psp within 2 weeks at my local gameshop.
now my question is, what firmware will i be getting
will it be 2.00 or higher??

as newbie says, you will probably get 1.52.
What do you want to do with the PSP? i.e. homebrew or no homebrew?
If you don't want homebrew you may as well update it.

the psp's in europe come with firmware v2.0, and a small percentage will be v1.52

just dont download the 2.1 or 2.50 update, it wont let you homebrew
