Default Can you replace the "buh-ding" sound?

Okay, you know that sound that plays when you start up a game? Is there a way to change that sound and/or the little animation that it comes with? This is for a 4.01 M33-2 phat PSP.

    It's a bit of a puzzle.
In 3.40-oea I flashed a custom gameboot.pmf that had its own sound.

in 3.71m33 I'm using CXMB 2.5 to do the same , but it leaves the PSP overlay on top, unless I use a custom opening_plugin
    - and that can't be skipped at coldboot coz cxmb starts when recovery ends.

Really, I dislike the puh-ding. The animation doesn't matter.

So, yeah good question. definitively , how to disable it ? (other than vol.=0, or a hacked off 3.5mm jack stuffed in the mic socket!)

Okay, I just thought it might be cool to have somethign like homer Simpson say d'oh everytime I start up something. Funny at least.

So, is the sound bound to the video?
