Default Need help with removing wavy lines

all you have to do is go open this file :
    flash0:\vsh\resource\system_plugin_bg.rco
Go to offset 0×00000646 and change the value from 35AF to 37AF, simple!, basically what it does is break the code for the actual lines, thus disabling them, but as with all firmware ‘mods’ i highly suggest you only do this using MPH’s firmware loader or with Flash0 emulation enabled in umd emulator 0.8,

I have two questions, how do I get to this file to edit it and when I try to use MPH's firmware loader, I get confused. How do I do this without brickin my psp?

    the question is:
is it really worth it to try doing something you're not sure about that might risk your psp just to get rid of wavy lines?(which i think r cool anyways)
but if there's a safe way to do it and you really want to do it, maybe some1 that knows will reply
