News/release from Waninkoko of probably the most interesting release in the Wii Scene so far and that is the ability to change the region of your Nintendo Wii, i may just buy a cheap Japanese Nintendo Wii and change it to the US Region

Heres the release details, as always becareful , you also need the Custom Firmware installed.

[ DESCRIPTION ]:

- This application allows you to change COMPLETELY the region of your Wii console.


[ REQUISITES ]:

- Custom IOS v37 rev 03 or higher installed.

- Run the application and select the new console region.

Seems this is Bricking Some Wiis, our advice is not to use at this time

I've successed in turining my JAP WII into a USA WII. Most of the menu is in english now. However, I can't enter the config menu. Furthermore, I can't get my backups running too...
