has any one tried the neogeo emus on loader7 I can not get them to work - what is the performance like?
Fanjita has updated his Eboot Loader for use on V2.0 Consoles only, heres whats new:
v0.7:
- Implement simple internal memory manager, hooked onto firmware memory
management, to boost memory pool available to applications.
- Hook thread allocation and exit, to allow for clean return to the
loader from applications that support an Exit option.
- Improve code signature algorithm to distinguish between similar EBOOTs
(fixes mis-identification of Casino Addict as SMS emulator).
- Added overclocking option : use left and right trigger buttons when
choosing file to change CPU speed.
- Add NID resolution for Sircs function : enables PSP IR Remote function.
- Add USB stubs to user-mode LUA, and better debug info in case of script
errors.
- Added left and right DPAD support in file-chooser, to go to the start
and end of the list
- Now supports more than 20 files in a directory
- Found pathname hack to run PSP Rhythm Composer.
- Improved cache flushing, should improve reliability
- Added safeguard to prevent PSPSet from being run and bricking 2.0.
New Working EBOOTs in this release:
- Attack of the Mutants 0.3
- Bookr 0.6 (PDF support works fine now)

Squarez v. 0.8 does work. Can anyone tell me is PSPGenesis works (my lifeline!)
You don't need to know my mental status. You probably don't want to, either.

Omg! this is super news to me!!! since i have firmware 2.0 im so limited.. last loader v6 only managed to work with the sms emulator but this version rocks and lets me use the snes emulator.. i dont know if its perfect but it seems good enough to me.. just tested out super mario world and it runs well.. good job people!!!!!!!
sweetboy why dont u jus downgrade til this loader is finished u r really missing out and downgradin takes less than 10mins and is safe ive done 6 so far
One more question.. the emulator seems to run must better and faster upping the cpu clock speed to 333mhz.. testing turtles in time. i just want to know is it safe doing this on my psp or do i have to keep the cpu click speed minimal?
overclocking my pc eventually smoked it but for a lot of emulators you have to set it to 333 or they just aint worth ur time, personally i always overclock its worth it and nobody has said there psp bricked cos of it so its up 2 personal preference really....................the red pill, or the blue.
333mhz is actually the PSP's true processor speed. It just runs on 222mhz with most commercial games because running at 333mhz really eats away battery power fast. I belive Sony was going to release an SDK for developers that let them program games that use all 333mhz the moment they get a better battery. At least that's what I've heard.Originally Posted by Sweetboy
In short: The PSP's running underclocked with most games, so 333mhz isn't overclocking. I believe running it at 333mhz is simply called running it "uncapped". Or something along those lines.
