News from GIBiz
November 4th is the new European release date for Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, with Rockstar's hugely-anticipated PSP-exclusive forced back seven days for reasons as-yet unconfirmed.
The game's UK distributor Gem confirmed the news to our sister site Eurogamer today, and admitted it had only just received confirmation itself this lunchtime. The game had originally been planned to ship this Friday, October 28th.
It is not yet known whether the European slip will have any effect on the game's US release date, which at the time of writing is expected to be tomorrow, the 25th October.
Should the game remain on track in the US for this week, it's fair to say that import retailers will be enjoying a bumper weekend selling what is one of the most in-demand games of the entire year on any platform.

Hi
I have a GTA question: i live in germany and the PS2 GTA games were censored in violence there, so i had to order the UK versions. My question is, if anybody heard about eventually censorship in the german version of GTA: LCS on PSP.
Thanks for replys, this might interest many german PSP Users who think they have the right to play video games in an uncensored version.![]()
Interesting...... wat sort of things were cut out?
...you would laugh... -after you "kill" people, there won't spawn Money
-the 50 (?) rampage skull icons arent in the german version
-there was no blood in GTA3 and GTA VC
-the german versions of GTA VC and SA are for players 16+
-...and GTA3 was 18+ (in censored version!!!)
but ive always been led to beleive that germany is the land of er....... uncensored media?, i just couldnt live without gtas life enhancing violence Out of interest does it cost u much to import from the uk?
Sex is no problem in german media, you can see Basic Instinct or Color of Night uncut when you're 16 but germans have their problems with violent content video games and movies (in the only not forbidden version of george romeros Dawn of the Dead you cant see just one drop of blood...)
If i buy the UK or austria version, it will cost around 5 euros more, thats ok for me.
must be one hell of a pain in the backside though, so i stay in england and get violence on tap or i move to germany and.............
lol, yes -why we cant have both?
in a perfect world there would be violence and porn for everyone, but my brethren this is not that such world. (s**t i forgot about the world wide web oh well)
