Default GTA:LCS video don't require FW 2.00 Video codec

Some site mention GTA:LCS can't play on the PSP 1.50, while that is not true.
From PSP 1.00 or 1.50, all support AVC but only to the UMD(Video) or GAME(Cut Scene).

You can try PMF Player, put the GTA:LCS Title.PMF on to the PMF Player with a PSP 1.50 it will play the video corrently.

So that, the other reason that GTA:LCS can't on the PSP 1.50. Not because of AVC codecs.

There is still a possible for GTA:LCS to be play on PSP 1.50m wait for UMD Emulator 0.9 (I Guess)

if this is true, then maybe it just checks for certain 2.0 file/s
maybe if we found out which ones they are, we could just create some dummy file it checks for and finds in the bios and then the game works?

Hey, guess what. Dump the UMD. See the "update" folder in the system directory oif the UMD? See how it contains the vital files that check your firmware and upgrade if you want? You might notice other games do the exact same thing (examples would be medievil or bleach 2). Replace LCS's update folder with one that scans for 1.52 the old fashion way. Bingo. However doing this is slightly illegal. If you want to play Liberty City Stories honestly, update your PSP. If you don't want to play LCS, then don't update. That easy.
