Mame emulation?!

I want to start burning stuff like that.......Everyone wants the best right?If it has to be done with the Dreamcast!!!!!!!! : )

Ok now i just got a bit confused searching the mame emulators for the Dreamcast.In other words i just couldnt pick the best one....Now i want your help about that.
Which Mame emu is the best nowadays for the Dreamcast?
In which i should waste my time with the roms?

I can't remember which version of the Mame roms it needs - it was either 0.36 or 0.56 . Different versions of Mame are often incompatible with different romsets. Also Wowmame only supports certain games although quite a few!

Mame games are coming in two versions.0.36 and 0.56 right?
Whats the difference between these two versions?
Newer games and older mame games?

No, MAME games come in many versions up to the current - some romsets will work in multiple different versions of MAME which is now above 0.96 and onto the strangely versioned V0.101.
You just need romsets that are compatible with version 0.36 of MAME to work in Wowmame.
