Will running games off the memory stick damage the PSP?

Cool thanks for the response guys. I'm bad with electronics so I just had to ask when I heard that rumor. I guess I got a little scared cuz my modded ps2 is dead and I'm pretty sure the cause was the modchip, but thats totally different from the PSP thing
