falling apart

This started a few days ago, when one of my emulators mysteriously became corrupted. All of the other data on the disk became corrupted, and my PC says that the disk is "corrupted and unacessable" when it's in the PSP. When I put the card in the reader, however, my PC has no problem accessing it. I tried reflashing my PSP in the recovery menu, but that didn't fix the problem, so I think that my firmware(4.01-2 M33) might be corrupted in some way. I tried downgrading to 3.71 M-33 by putting Hellcat's recovery flasher in the instructed X:/PSP/GAME/RECOVERY, but the PSP couldn't start that in recovery menu, and wouldn't recognize it in the XMB. Basically, I'm in dire need of help! Any body, with any ideas as to fix this, please, please, please help me!

Maybe your psp is just having trouble with its card reader. If thats the case theres not much you can do.
