PS2 to computer monitor

To all,
My friend has just given me his old PS2 as he now has a PS3.

I have a 22" widescreen computer monitor and am hoping to use this with the PS2.

I have both VGA and DVI inputs for the monitor. Is this possible, where can I buy any necassary parts and so on.

Any help would be great.

Also sorry if this has already been discussed, please just direct me to the appropriate thread if this is the case.

So with that, you would connect the video through the VGA socket and the audio through the red and white audio leads to a hi-fi / sound system?
