General games Kingston kicks its SDHC game up to 32GB

It was a bit late to the party with its 16GB SDHC card, and Kingston looks to be playing catch-up again when it comes to 32GB cards, with it only now releasing its first such high capacity wonder. It's also not making any attempts to contend with the fastest cards around, as this particular one is only a Class 4 card that promises to maintain a speed of 4MB/sec, which is a good deal off the pace of Panasonic's 20MB/s Class 6 SDHC card. Of course, at "just" $308, you can also get two of these for the price of one of Panasonic's speedy cards, which should tide you over until the inevitable 64GB SDHC cards start showing up.

Hmm. Is there any gaming device that support this card? A GP2X with touchscreen maybe?

My overclocked Asus eee supports sdhc but i'll wait for a price drop as that would make it 600$ laptop.

300 for a portable computer is one thing but 300$ for a flash card is still outrageous regardless of capacity(although a 200gb sdhc might be worth 300$).

When you sit back and think about it, 32GB of storage on something that small is quite a technological feat. The PSP is capped at allowing up to 16GB am I correct?

If a microSDHC version of this is released it would be even more impressive. But then you are talking about 32GB crammed into something the size of your fingernail.
