that shows so much homebrew potential I'n not even kidding...
I'm excited
im wondering whether they will release it in the uk though
I'm assuming the US will get it sometime, like for socom. I could use that jap to eng game too if I ever found the time.
anyone know if socom will be firmware 2.0?
dunno but if its anything like star wars battlefront 2 it will work with version tricker : 0
Well, from what I've read around the nets, people were using the SOCOM Beta ISO through a loader and used a version trick to fool it into thinking it was running on a 2.0 PSP. They said it worked fine.
Now, if the release version is encrypted using 2.0.....well, then it's going to require 2.0.
lets jus HOPE that aint the case the more 1.5 compatible games the better til someone works out a viable way of homebrew on 2.0 or even better 2.5
wait a tick? I used the WAB version changer and couldnt get battlefront II to work on a 1.5... what tricker are you refurring to.
and I can only asume these new abilities to the psp can only be done on the new firmwares because the features weren't finished when earlier versions were maid or something....
I heard somewhere about people referencing the that small port next to the headphone jac and being able to communicate between psps with a homemade cable.
I'm not sure, but if more was looked into that, we could probably make our own mic features.
