DSL Woes

My internet cuts out maybe 5 times a day. The solution is to go into my router, DHCP Release and then of course DHCP renew. I know it's a problem with stability of the signal in the phone line but there's nothing I can do about that for a few weeks. My internet actually cuts out for maybe a couple seconds but if I don't release/renew or just unplug my router and plug it back in my network doesn't see any internet. Are there any automatic fixes so that when my internet cuts out for a couple seconds the router will automatically be set up for internet again?

This has happened to me many times, I call my DSL provider and ask then to run a diagnosis on my line.
That usually fixes it most of the time, you could give that a try if you want.
