Im new to the whole emulation of the PSP thing since i recently learned that emulation on it was possible and i have tried repeated times to play Mario on it with different emulators and demos. I was wondering if sumone knew what this error means: The game could not be started. (80020148). I have recieved that error all those times or in some cases my psp said data corrupted. also do i need to downgrade ( i dont know if i hav 2.0 or 1.5 or whatever...) or am missing a program or need to do something. so please help me.

you NEED to know if u have 1.50, etc
check your system settings, on the menu to see

well, ive tried everything in your guide, you did a great job making it. I followed all your instruction for all of the users, it came close to working when i opened photos. the screen popped up, but then nothing, i waited 2- 5 mins. still nothing. btw i have Version 1.52, is my PSP to updated now to save?

o also, i tried updating and i guess sony is catching onto you guyz, it seems sony is updating with 1.5 now fer me and has skipped 2.0, they might even be aware of this site!!! (especially since game magazines post the sites)

you need to upgrade to 2.00 and downgrade to 1.50.

the 2.0 upgrader only comes with a PBP file and no instructions.

the instructions for the downgrader can be found all over, just search "downgrader guide" or something of the like and you're sure to find them

actually, i was wondering how to upgrade from 1.52 to 2.00, i tried the PSP's updater but it instead downloaded 2.50 so now i hav 2.00, i tried putting it in a folder in the game folder but when i started it up there was an error.

put it in game/UPDATE (all caps)
and do NOT run any updates through kxploit/any homebrew/emulator 1.50 program

when i go to photos my screnn is black with a bunch of white characters, at which point i am unable to shutoff my PSP unless i take out the battery and unplug it...
