I'm afraid so, you could try trading it back in for a 2.0 if possible, othewise you are totally stuck unless someone clever develops a dowgrade for it, if there can be one made........which at the present time is unlikely as people are still trying to ahck 2.0

bought a psp with version 2.50
hey guys in a total n00b to psp but got a great deal on one so i got it. its version 2.50, is it too late for emulation for me? i searched but i only come up with stuff saying 2.0. im guessing its too late...
