EZ Flash 3-in-1 Rumble help!

AAAH! I got my EZflash 3-in-1 and I can't seem to get it to work!

All I want to do is make Elite Beat Agents rumble. Is there ANY easy way to make this work?

I've tried SO many different patching programs. None work. The closest I got just screwed up the ROM and made the screens go white. God damn, why can't there be ONE simple way to do this?

If it helps, I'm using an R4.
