FFIX Sound Issues?

Okay, so I read that the NTSC version if FFIX has issues with the FMV's having no sound. The PAL version did not describe this, so could someone who has the PAL version please tell me if sound plays during the FMV's? I would appreciate it if you would test this on 4.01 and 3.71 popsloader. Thank you in advance for any help given.

I had to downgrade back down to 3.52 m33-4 so all the Final Fantasy games work properly.

I had 3.71 etc and i had issues with sound on the PAL versions.

I ended up downgrading to 3.52 m33-4 and using the NTSC versions (i own the original games so it's fine for me to do so) and it all works fine now.
