    Thumbs up PSP Revolution v0.1

Denitro in this PSP Emulation & Homebrew Forum Topic has released his Stepmania game for the PSP, heres what the coder says:

"Here it is, our first full relelase of PSP Revolution v0.1

PSP Revolution is based off the popular game Stepmania and is compatible
with Stepmania (.SM) and Dance With Intensity (.DWI) song files.
To install additional songs, copy them into pack folders in
"\psp\game\pspr\songs" just as you would in Stepmania

Devin923 and I have been working hard on this first release so we hope you guys like it =)

I need help. I put all my songs in the songs folder, and when I try running them in-game, it says to "Please pick a song pack", then when I go in there, it says to "Please pick a song", and there are no songs to pick from. What am I doing wrong?

Edit: Nevermind, I got it to work. Turns out, I needed all the song folders in another folder.

I'm extremely impressed by this one. I'm not a fan of DDR but this is the only non-emulator homebrew I've kept in my PSP for more than a few hours. Really good stuff, I can't even think of any ideas for improvements, can anyone else?

Not to sound ungrateful, but I have discovered a few bugs in this. On a lot of songs, when they're set to heavy difficulty (Green) and played, the arrows seem to be off-sync with the music. During one game I actually wondered whether me and the game were playing the same song or not. Also, when you're selecting songs, the game always seems to crash around the third or fourth one, and around the second to last one (On the first page). Just some things you might want to look into. Awesome job, btw!

Edit: Actually, I tried creating enough "Dummy folders" so that they took up the entire first page, but none of them crashed the game! Now, I have no clue what's going on, because now songs are crashing the game that worked perfectly before. Hmm...

    1. Is there a maxiumum song length?
    2. Does it handle 11-15 footers?(I'm going to test this now(
    3. Possible to play holding the psp verticle?(This would be the BEST EBAR!!)

Anyways, this is by far the best sm/dwi emulator(yup, even stepmania is an emu). The creation of this is right up there with 1.5Kxploit, Snes/Gbc Emus, and the 2.0 downgrader! Keep up the good work!

    Hi guys,

Made some of the songs working on the PSP Revolution v0.1 emulator. I saw there were some problems other had, and started converting the stepmania songs to this emulator. I do really enjoy it myself, and wanted to share it with you guys. This all is downloaded from http://www.gamecast.org/plaguemix/
So the credits go to them
All songs are included (that are released on the site above; till the 20th november '05). When more will be released, I will convert them too. If no one has problems with this, I would be pleased doing this for "you"

I really want to know: Has anyone who owns a PSP2TV tried using this with a dance pad?

I tried some "In The Groove" songs, but they didn't work because of the "Mines". I really don't remember of seeing "Freeze" Steps on PSP Revolution and Most Songs Played on Heavy, seem out of synch Ex. Max300 MaxX Unltd etc.
It would be SO NICE to have this working... Speed Mods!!!
