Default Need help modding a DC Agetec stick

Hi, I'm trying to rewire one of my old DC sticks to use on my PS2 (works outa lot cheaper than buying a RAP!), but I'm a bit stumped by the wiring for the circuit board directly below the stick itself (not the main board located beneath the VMU slot). I see five wires coming out of the left of the stick's board going to the main board, coloured (in this order):

    1) yellow
    2) orange
    3) red
    4) brown
    5) black

I'm assuming the black wire is the ground. I was wondering, which wire corresponds to which direction on the stick, as I'm having extreme difficulty in figuring it out!

    Many, many thanks in advance!

I tried wiring to the pcb with no luck as well.

Splicing the wires works a whole lot better.

Can't find which wire is which? It's actualy clearly mapped on the pcb if you follow it

here's what I wrote from my past project.

    Joystick:
    yellow.........left
    orange........down
    red.............right
    brown.........up
    Black..........Black

    good luck,

    King.
