Hmmm, a music prx for 4.01 was released a while ago?
I have a working one on my PSP right now.
News/release from euroguy213
i was messing around with the 3.90 m33 music prx and noticed that it contained a file called audio_id that was over 800mb in size. in the file the same 50 lines were being repeated over and over again. after i deleted all the repeated lines i was left with a file size of 108kb. the prx works on 3.90 m33 and 4.01m33-2 slim and phat psps.one of the only bugs is that in game mute doesnt work.
here are the controls for the plugin
VOLUP = NOTE|UP
VOLDOWN = NOTE|DOWN
START_STOP = NOTE|START
PREVIOUS = NOTE|LEFT
NEXT = NOTE|RIGHT
MODE_TOGGLE = NOTE|RTRIGGER #SEQ/RAND
CPU_NEXT = NOTE|TRIANGLE
CPU_PREV = NOTE|CROSS
RELOAD = NOTE|CIRCLE
DISPLAY = NOTE|SQUARE #on screen display
IN_GAME_MUTE = NOTE|HOME #press this combo once to disable game sounds, and again to enable them
LOOP = NOTE|LTRIGGER
***You must hold the note button and press up, down,x,triangle.....***
***If you dont like the controls you can edit them in music_conf.txt in the seplugins folder***

I have the same prx but its was never 800MB
What was the one before that was compatible with the 4.01 ?? anyway i've downloaded this one but is the one beofre any better ??
are we talking about a change in file size for a plug-in or for flash0? i can't imagine caring about a 700kb savings on my 4GB card, but on my 32MB phat flash i could see this as having potential for removing less features to preserve 1.50 kernel mode in CFW.
This doesnt work.EPIC FAILURE!
work on my slim 3.90 m33 2 but hangs with motogp and if enabled while booting homebrew they are without sound
Worked fine on my phat with 4.01m33-2. A shame this new version interferes with LightMP3's functionality without being disabled, though, as the old 3.71M33 music.prx hadn't. A minor inconvenience, but I haven't had problems with anything else, so that's fine.
