About to buy a PSP, what firmware

Hello all. ok, I'm SOLD! I'm about to buy a PSP in the US, but I was wondering what firmware does it come with?????

If it's version 2.0 it should be ok because there's a downgrader to firmware 1.5, but if it's 2.5 I'm done for cos it doesn't run any homebrew or emulators, right?

So, again, what firmware versions do new PSPs sold in the US come with? Or should I buy a used one?

First off, I suggest you buy a giga bundel. I just got one a couple of days ago and it came with version 2.0, so I am sure that is what you will get. From there you can do most any thing you want.
