rrc2soft contacted me today to show off a work in progress build of a game hes been working on. A port of the freeware PC game Knytt Stories. It looks really nice, my initial reaction was that it has the same kind of 2d charm that Cave Story has. The music in the video is really creepy as well, love it. I wish rrc2soft the best of luck with this one, cant wait to try it out in the future.

During this past months, I have been working on a DS version of the freeware platform game Knytt Stories. And since today is the first anniversary of the release of the game for PC, I have posted a video of my latest WIP version for DS in youtube.

Knytt Stories is amazing. I was playing it the other day. I actually prefer it to Cave Story honestly (I think because I'm more of a Metroid fan at heart and Cave Story didnt really have much if any exploring). I wouldnt mind having a portable version of it. And it looks like you can add user levels.
