Hah Very nice!!!![]()
Me want
Some dedicated hackers have finally managed to get the PSP and Microsoft's Xbox 360 Chatpad typing. There are still a few kinks to smooth out, but the hard part seems over, with l0rdnic0 managing a tiny bit of soldiering using a PSP remote cable and some software from the Open Keyboard Project. It's all still pretty nerdy at the moment, and we're still miffed at that Logic 3 getting cancelled way back when, but we suppose this will have to do.

Aww sweet......Im not sure if it was worth the money they put in though....unless they are gonna be skypin or Aim-ing(lol) at starbucks or in the park or at school or something.
problem is it takes another driver, so software support is going to be limited
now if this takes off that could change, but along with a lot of acid mods things theres no description oh how its actually done
so theres 1 guy with 1 chat pad using special built applications just to gain the "oh wow" factor, thats not very useful
also please dont think im just being a poo poo cause of whatever reason, i am currently tinkering with a go type! keyboard (originally for old palm pilots), and have had to think over if and why i would release a serial keyboard to the public's knoledge that really does not do anything outside of my intended, propitiatory use
i dont care what billy 13 year old thinks of me on utube, and if theres not a standard sio keyboard driver, what good would it serve the public,
simmilar to the ps/2 to sio and usb keyboard projects of the past
dunno, correct me if im wrong ... send me a link to a universal sio keyboard driver in the sdk that all developers can use
and ill deleiver whatever hardware is required, till then its just for my use in my application ... no reason to get everone in a frothy tizzy over IMO
i like it, i think it's even better than the ir keyboard cause this can fit in yer pocket :P
