which program is easier to use to burn emu disks?

Is nero necessary to make emulation disks? or are there other programs that are better to use?

I recommend BootDreams (to create the images) and Alcohol 120% to burn the images.

At first let me point you to http://www.DCEvolution.net - We got a bunch of nice pre-made images for you:

1. Download the image (click on the link on the right hand menu)

2. Then download Alcohol (burns Nero NRG & DiscJuggler CDI):

3. Unrar your download from DCEvolution with e.g. WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

4. Start Alcohol and select the CDI file.

5. Burn in TAO mode.

6. Insert in your Dreamcast and enjoy



If you are about to create your own image:

1. Download BootDreams:
http://www.consolevision.com/members/fackue/

2. Install to e.g. C:\BootDreams

3. Unzip/Unrar your app/game/emu into a seperated folder.

4. Start BootDreams and select that folder.

5. Start Alcohol and select the CDI file BootDreams created.

6. Burn in TAO mode.

7. Insert in your Dreamcast and enjoy.


You could even use BootDreams as an replacement for Alcohol/Nero/DiscJuggler as it also is able to burn via the built-in CDRecord app.
