Ever fantasised over what the gun and bullet impact noises in Gears of War 2 would sound like? Neither have we, but Epic's released a six minute developer diary on just the subject anyway.

"Many people don't realize how much sound contributes to immersion in a game," says Gears celebrity designer Cliff Bleszinski, introducing the video, 'Touch of Sound'.

"This video reveals how much thought and effort Epic Games puts into the incredibly rich variety of sounds in Gears of War 2: from voice acting to musical score, sound effects and more."

looks like epic is spending a good bit of time to make it as good, if not better than the 1st. to bad all games don't have such dedicated developers.

Thats dope I cant wait for this game. Its just not the same experience without the dolby digital 5.1. When playing the first gears ive had people noticed that it was more intense even when they own the same exact game.
