Unhappy Help running Descent PSP on PSP Slim?

    Hello all,

I normally do more homebrew use on a DS, but one ported game I've been wanting to run is Descent PSP. I owned the original game on floppy way back when, and purchased the 20th(not sure where I pulled 20th from) anniversary cd when that came out and have always been a fan.

So, that being said, I have patched the correct files to their latest version and I am running CFW 4.01 M33-2 on my PSP Slim. However, whenever I try to load the eboot for the game, the PSP loads the default Sony "chime" and splash, then errors back to the menu saying that the game could not be loaded, with an error code of 80020148.

Can anyone help solve this issue?

Edit: I would like to clarify, I followed the guide located here(DescentPSP [GUIDE]), and still get this error.

Tried, I got nothing. It tells me it found a suspicious path and to hit X if I want to continue. I do that then the application crashes out with a memory dump saved to the memory stick.

When I first found DescentPSP, I was thrilled. Finally I could play on the go. I have the PSX-version, but really, it requires just about 400mb of diskspace (the ported version only needs about 30mb, incl. the midi-drivers). I downloaded it, patched my original cd-version of descent, smacked it all together and *BAM*, the damned thing don't work. I've spent the last 10 days, searching the net for any solution, but no! Everyone says it works, but then why won't it work for me?

    I have a PSP-2004 with CFW 5.00 m33.

I've tried using DOSBox, eLoader, even POPSLoader, none of it works.

Help! I bought a PSP for the ports and a PSP is much more convenient than a laptop (even the mininotes)!

Descent is only 1.5 kernel Compatible.
