HELP PSX 4.01 m33-2

Ok so about 5 mounths ago i figured out how to get custom firmware on my slim but, ive always wanted to play diablo on my psp using a psx. and it will start and stuff but once it trys to load the load bar doesnt go up ( even after 3 hours!!!) and so im wondering why how and how to fix it thanks if u help (i've also tryed with another psx Warcraft for ps1 and the load bar didnt go up.

oh i forgot to add that the game will start and get to the main menu saying load new game ect. but when ever i try to start a game the load bar doesnt go up
