O.k so i have bought my son a 1.5 psp i have cracked how to put games onto the psp from the computer with fastloader, but we have bought him a umd game which i tried load in but it will not run and want me to update my firmware to 2.6 how do i get around this, if i upload the firmware how do i get it back to 1.5 if you can the game is Pinball classic

Ok Ive found from borrowing some mates games that;

James Bond: From russia with love..................2.60
Worms open warfare....................................2.60
Outrun 2006.............................................. .2.60

Not much use to us until MPH gameloader can run 2.6 games on 1.5

ok i own these (US) games i checked all of them as i typed this up...the ONLY ONES IM NOT POSSITIVELY SURE ABOUT IS DARKSTALKERS AND NFS RIVALS they may be 1.5 but i know they work on 1.52 that was my native firmeware when i bought my second psp...also for people who can use 2.0 even if your on 1.5 remember you CAN downgrade again later but the program SET X alows a 2.0 user to play up to 2.6 games WITH a 2.0 NOW ON TO THE GAMES I HAVE THAT ARENT LISTED UP TOP !!!

1: dagon ball z shin budokai requires 2.6 but can be played WITH SET X on a 2.0...

2 :arc of napishtim 2.6

3:marvel nemisis has a 1.52 update and requires 1.52

4:star wars battle front 2 has 2.00 update and requires 2.00

5 nfs rivals DOES NOT CONTAIN an update but requires 1.52 i think so just go 2 2.0 if you like this one alot...SET X RUlES for 2.00

6 frogger helmet chaos has a 1.52 update on it and requires 1.52

7 gohst in a shell stand alone complex1.52 reqired with 1.52 update ( on a personal note if you LOVE a gr8 first person shooter....this is the best psp has to date even if you dont care for the anime like vetta does'nt ...)

8 mega man powerd uprequires 2.6 and has 2.6 update..

9 street fighter alpha 3 max requires 2.5 and has a 2.5 update but AGAIN ive tested this title with SET X on my 2.0 psp as well and it works fine...

10 veitiful joe red hot rumble requires 2.6 and has a 2.6 update...

11 dark stalkers chaos tower requires 1.52 i think and also DOES NOT contain a update

and those are the games i OWN AND VERIFIED AS I TYPED THEM...

as for lemmings and worms AT LEAST 2.5 if not 2.6
sony does these by release date of the umd...and im sure about dbz shinbudokai being 2.6 if its up top in that list its because i own the game and confirmed it just now by poping each one in and looking at the UPDATE on the umd darkstalkers and NFS rivals has no update so its very possible there 1.5 games...i say 1.52 at the most ....bye the release date
