    I'm not in a mood -_-

I just hate it when people say things that aren't true, and this topic is filled with lies IMO. Soon ppl will start sending us questions like "Where is dual wielding? You said there will be dual wielding! You are liars!" and we will have to answer...

Still, there is a good side. I finally made an account here :P

wow its quake with new maps, and it has to attach the halo name to it to get the fanboys to cream their pants

its good work, and its kinda fun ... but it should not have to be a gimmick like slapping "halo" on the title ... it really could stand on its own, as a independent idea, if theres anything original in there

How do you know if it's fun, osgeld? I thought it wasn't released yet. Also, why you gotta hate? They're having some fun with PSP Quake. There's a Turok total conversion for Quake on the PSP, too, maybe you should go talk to them about how unoriginal they are because Turok inspired them to do something with Quake on the PSP.

Actually dandi8, it was YOU who said that dual-wielding would be implemented. Maybe you don't remember, but you posted it on the official forums here. The high-res models comment was in regards to Quake's default models. The models you guys are creating would be considered high-res in comparison.

As for the videos, let's just say I have a friend who's a beta tester.

Please point out the lies in this news post. All of the information I posted was either statements from yourself or other team members or what I derived from the beta version that i saw.

I'm not trying to be an asshole, I just hate it when people accuse others of being liars without checking their own sources first. Also, the project looks awesome and I'm looking forward to any future updates. Keep up the good work!

I think this is a case of miscommunication.

Yes. This is one of the things that makes Halo special and it will definetely be added along with pressing a button to pick up a weapon etc.
    ...Source

Meaning that -- as in Halo -- you can only carry two weapons to cycle between at a time, as opposed to being able to cycle through as many different weapons as you have picked up. Not dual-wield two weapons. Nothing to get everyones knickers in a twist over.

Edit: But, to steer everything back, I'd still like to point out that this will be stinkin' sweet.

Not a Halo fan...never have been. I've always favored GoldenEye and Quake.

But, those screenshots look way better than anything I've seen modded for Quake before...so you have my attention.

I am psyched to see what the final product looks and plays like.

I have one question though...Where is Dual Wielding?...Somewhere between Jabroni and Albaquerquee, I guess?
    Just teasing. KP

Good luck to the team responsible.

Dude, being able to HOLD ONLY TWO WEAPONS AT A TIME is different than dual wielding XD

And the fact that you've seen gameplay means that we have a leaker which will have to be investigated.

    And for all the haters:
This mod is for people that like Halo. If you don't like Halo, this mod's probably not good for your health (unless you plan on liking it). Just a comment from me.

Now when all the hating is done and hopefully news posters will start reading more carefully, we can start the lovin' But I most likely won't be checking this topic too often so if you guys have any questions head over to our forum.
