    Default Some questions...

Sorry if this information has already been posted, but i couldnt really find anything.

Ok, im getting a PSP giga pack for christmas and im thinking about homebrewing.

    1. So, does my PSP HAVE to be 1.0 or 1.5?

    2. What are the advantages of homebrewing?

    3. What are the downsides/risks of homebrewing?

    4. Can i play UMD games from my memory card from homebrewing, eg. GTA?

If you can answer these questions I will be very gratefull.

I second that, basically I'm getting a PSP for Christmas and I was wondering how you can emulate and run modern new PSP games. It all sounds very confusing to me but basically I want to run Mega Drive/Genesis games and SNES games on it as well as play stuff like Liberty City Stories.

Like Dragondex said, any help and I would be very grateful.

    1-1.50 (recommended)
2-no advantage, just alot of fun
3-you may find yourself playing games for hours
4-most games can be run from your card

search for more info once you get your psp. i gahtered all files and stuff before i got my psp, but i had too much crap and got confused so i got everything again. first thing is first get your psp then mess with the firmware. i learned everythiing from this site.
