nope. you can only downgrade from 2.0 to 1.5
Excuse my question, probably has already been asked 10000 times. I'd like to buy a PSP Giga Pack which comes with 2.01 firmware version.
Is it possible to downgrade to version 2.0 in order to use homebrew and all programming stuff ? Thanks
nope. you can only downgrade from 2.0 to 1.5
And from 1.50 to 1.00 if you haven't updated or downgraded.
You don't need to know my mental status. You probably don't want to, either.

Thanks, so from now on all the PSP soldwill have a firmware >=2.01 and no homebrew will run on it ?
I better hurry up to find a PSP with a older firmware ...
eBay would be a great place to find one, that's where I got mine. for cheap too!
This thread title is extremely misleading. The thread it self is even worse.
Just to clear something up: there is no (publicly known) way to go from 1.50 to 1.00. Don't run any program that says it will do that; you will most likely destroy your PSP.
Well, i'm really curious to know why is that ...Originally Posted by Kaiser

Check this sticky in the PSP guides section here. Also most of the other guides in that section mention 2.01-2.6 don't run homebrew. There is no excuse for making this even if your new you should still search around a little before asking a question. That go's for any question to.
