    i had read rumors about a umd burner for the pc.
    will ther by a umd recorder?
    this would be cool, curse u can burne movis and musik.

    well, i shure ther will be a burner.
    sony will sell them!!!!
    i had read about them. but no 1,8gb umd´s.
    they will only made umd´s with about 700mb.
    its for movis, mp3 and so on.

    Yep, that's what it looks like to me.

    If you take a moment to actually think about it, SONY will never release a UMD burner to the consumer market. It's just common sense. They are trying as hard as they can to squash piracy on the PSP, so why on earth would they just hand over that techknowledgy? Would it be a cool thing for people to have? Sure. Would they sell to the consumer mass market? No, the only people who would pay for it would be people who would want to burn pirated games and UMD movies.

    Some people will probably find a way to burn UMDs.

    u can actually burn the isos on normal CDs ^^ or DVDs

    Umd burning ,,

    a umd disc its self is the standard 3 inch mini disc so if you could buy cases for them you could easyerly burn on to the mini disc and put it in to a case and the psp would recognise it if you did it in the right format
