HELP! 2.60 problem

ok i have version 2.6. well thats ok because a downgrader will come out shortly. but i was playing starwars battlefront 2 and i turned my psp into sleep mode. when i turned it back on i tried to load a a saved game and it froze up jsut likethe downgrader. and then i turned it off and back on again and all that japaneese and carrean writing came up like on the downgrader and then it took me through a set up.
will someone tell me whats wrong.

So what exactly do you see now once you power on the PSP? The last part of your statement you said the PSP took you through a set up. Was that successful? I'm just trying to get a clearer picture of your problem.
