A nice trick with Pro Duo mem cards

This link here shows how to make your mem sticks hold 2x the load. Im still waiting for my 1gd Sandisk so could anyone try this with the psp?

just trai it!!!
i think u cant destroy the card.
maybe some other hardware will get problems with the new stick, but the psp will work.
trai to format it with the windows format program!

Not worth it, he says that you can format it to twice the size but you cant but anymore that what your card originally had.

i know you can format the pro duo to twice its normal amount (which means the 1gb is really a 2gb formated down to save sony money) but i thought once you try and use it on your psp it is no longer formated for the psp, and then needs to be formated back to the psp pro duo, causing the 2gb to be formated back to 1gb?

what a really long sentence.
