    Default Xbox games on the 360 Console

    When I bought this the fella at the store assured me that it would play Xbox games. Since Xmas we have only been able to play 360 games and it seems to need some software. I've followed all the instructions to download this from the Xbox site and the system does not seem to be reading the disk?

    Can anyone help?

    the xbox 360 can only play new xbox games, so it cannot play games such as halo1, metal slug 3, and other good games . but it can play new releases for the xbox like GTA san andreas. ive tested all of these so i know... but it may be different for you
